"Return was easy, but the refund took a while"
The return process itself went fine, but the refund took longer than I expected. I’m sure other customers would appreciate a quicker turnaround, especially after sending an item back

"Packaging that genuinely made me smile"
I was a little nervous waiting for my order from otakumode.com, because I’ve had figures arrive damaged before and I still remember that sinking feeling. But this one showed up packed so carefully. The outer box didn’t have any dents, and the figure was surrounded with plenty of padding so it wasn’t shifting around at all. Even the figure box itself looked clean, which really matters to me as a collector. It did take a bit longer to arrive, but when I opened it and saw everything in perfect shape, I felt so relieved and happy.

I had a question about my order and didn’t feel like dealing with a long back-and-forth, so I was relieved when support got back to me so quickly. They were friendly, took care of the problem without making it a whole hassle, and I could just move on with my day. I was really happy with how easy it was.

"Legit figure, but shipping could be better"
I ordered a figure from Tokyo Otaku Mode and, thankfully, it showed up sealed with the correct box and stickers. Everything looks totally official to me, so no complaints there. It did take a while to arrive though, so whoever runs this really needs to sort out the shipping speed. Still, I’m happy with what I got.

I preordered a figure and it did eventually arrive, so I can’t say it was a total disaster. But the delay was way longer than I expected, and the support replies were slow. What bothered me most was how hard it was to get any kind of real human contact when I just wanted an update. Overall, not terrible, but it definitely makes me nervous about trusting their preorder dates again.

"Shipping was way too much"
I was just trying to order one figure, but then the shipping came out almost the same price as the item itself. At that point, it just felt kind of ridiculous, so I didn’t go through with it. Not sure what was going on with that, but yeah, nope.

I opened my order and it wasnt the figure I was expecting. The box had the wrong one inside, so that was disappointing.

"Pretty good shop, though customs caught me off guard"
The order itself was totally fine and the shop seems good—actually, I was going to say great, but the customs fee ended up being higher than I expected, so that took a bit of the shine off. Still, the buying experience was okay overall.

I wasn’t expecting it to arrive so fast, so when the package showed up early it kind of made my day. It reminded me of that little rush you get when something you’ve been waiting for suddenly appears at your door. Really happy with the whole experience

"Premium doesn’t feel worth it anymore"
so I paid extra for Premium thinking I’d actually save a decent amount, but i barely saved on anything. It just doesn’t feel worth the upgrade anymore.

"Always waiting on restocks"
I was trying to order a few figures, but of course most of the ones I wanted were already sold out. The restocks seem to take forever too, which gets frustrating when you’re just trying to browse and buy something without waiting around.

I end up browsing otakumode more than I plan to. Just kind of clicking around. Figures, little random anime goods, stuff I don’t usually see on the bigger sites. I even ran into a couple older items I thought were long gone, so that was a nice surprise.
It’s not perfect though. Some things disappear really fast, and the search can be a little annoying when you’re trying to find something specific. Still, I keep checking back. Always feels like there might be something good hiding there.

"The points system is probably the..."
The points system is probably the only reason I still shop on Otakumode. The prices aren’t always great, and shipping can get ridiculous, which is on them, not the customers. But the rewards actually help a lot. I’ve saved a decent amount on figures and shipping, and it’s satisfying watching the points stack up after every order. If they didn’t have that, I’d probably be way more annoyed and shop somewhere else.

"Pretty much confirmed my worries"
I was a little skeptical before buying because I had a feeling the photos were making it look nicer than it actually was, that ended up being true. The paint had a few small marks, and the box showed up a bit crushed. It’s not the worst thing ever, but for the price, I definitely expected better quality.
